LONDON WILDLIFE PROTECTION NEWEST HELPER

Lily, neighbour of LWP volunteer Margaret, learnt the basics of feeding a baby pigeon. The baby had been clipped by a car, two young women travelling in the car behind saw this, and immediately stopped, obtained a small box from a nearby shop, and upon checking the bird could not fly, placed the baby pigeon in the box and contacted LWP. Lily held the bird while Margaret attempted to feed it. The baby pigeon did not take readily to the hand reared mix, and Lily 's response was "well if l was in a strange place away from my mother, l would be too scared to eat too" So right you are Lily.
