BIRDS TRAPPED BEHIND NETTING RELEASED

26/1/18

London Wildlife Protection carried out a rescue of birds trapped behind a newly installed netting on a residential building in West Ealing. The LWP officers Maciek, Emma and Gale needed to get access to the flats balconies and contacted the residents of the building, who were extremely friendly, helpful and appreciative. Many people enjoy feeding birds and watch them at home or in parks. Our volunteers left the London wildlife protection contact details for the residents to alert and notify us of any problems or help any sick or injured birds and animals. During the releasing of the birds we spotted a pigeon with our ring on his leg. he was treated and released in 2011, 7 year ago. It is nice to know that our work and dedication help so many birds to survive and live a long a happy life for many years.
